Business context

A bistro serving authentic flavours from fresh ingredients, home-made mozzarella and secret-recipe sauces, with more than 13 specialty pizzas keeping the kitchen and the phone line busy every evening.

The new connectivity setup was tested through a live dinner service before the previous connection was decommissioned.

Problem statement

A bistro running more than a dozen specialty pizzas made to order needed its phone-in orders, EFTPOS and online ordering to keep working at the same time during peak dinner service, without one dropping out when the others were busy.

Dinner rush meant orders, payments and calls all competing for the same line.

Solution delivered

We deployed business-grade connectivity with a managed phone line dedicated to phone-in orders, keeping payment and online-ordering traffic separated so a busy phone line couldn't slow down EFTPOS.

Technology stack

Business-grade fibre/nbn connectivity, managed phone line for phone-in orders, payment and online-ordering traffic kept separate.

Business result

Dinner-rush order calls, card payments and online orders now run on connectivity built to handle all three at once, instead of one connection stretched across every function.
